It is a special day for Dads/Grandfathers/Uncles or any male role model in your child’s life to be present on campus.
Have lunch with your child in the cafeteria. This is the primary focus and how most participate.
Go to recess with your child’s class.
Don’t have time for lunch? Walk your child to school. Pick them up. Spend any time you can at Mockingbird.
Attend what you can. If you can only spend a few minutes at lunch, that is always better than none. Even a few minutes makes a statement.
Don’t forget to allow time to sign in at the office.
Lunch times for each grade are available at this link.
Mockingbird is having a toy drive. You can help by bringing new unwrapped toys. A box will be located in the front office area.
All donations will go to the Coppell Lions Club and will help local families in Coppell ISD. The last day to donate items will be Friday, December 21st.
Thank you for your helping those in need!
Message from Front Office About Change of Clothes
Many students have a change of clothes at school in case of accident or spills. Many of these clothes are light summer wear or may have already been outgrown. Please send in a warmer set of clothes to keep in your child's cubby. If you have any clothes, especially pants with expandable waists, that you could donate to the front office in case of accidents or spills, we would appreciate it!
Cold Weather Clothing Reminder
Just a friendly reminder that we continue to go outside to play in the colder weather. Please be sure to send your child to school wearing appropriate clothing for the cool temperatures. Keep in mind that classes go outside throughout the school day. Weather permitting, we will be outside when the wind chill temperature is 32 degrees for a 15 minute recess. Below 32 degrees wind chill warrants indoor recess. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather including wearing a winter coat, hat, and mittens when necessary.
