We are finishing up our first  week of Write-A-Check, and we are proud of the gracious giving from many of our Mockingbird families. Our goal for this is $12,000, and we have already raised a little over $9,500 in our first week of this campaign. That’s incredible! I’m sure Mrs. Flynn is getting nervous about the slime that is coming her way soon after we reach our goal! 

Did you know that if each Mockingbird student donated $10, we would raise around $5,000? That would give us our goal right there! 

Just a reminder that even if you aren’t able to give financially, your child can still win our individual Friday drawings and also the grade level recess/ popsicle party by simply turning in your blue cards!

Here is the current breakdown of the number of participants (just turning in blue cards) per grade level. Remember, even if you choose not to donate, you can still turn in your blue card. It’s not too late to participate! Turn in your cards today!

Kinder: 32%, 1st Grade: 96%, 2nd Grade: 45%, 3rd Grade: 53%, 4th Grade: 47%, and 5th Grade: 22%.

Remember that the highest earning classroom will get $500 to spend in their classroom this year. Mrs. Boyles, Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Oswald are our current highest earning classrooms. And it’s a close race! One week to go! 

Last but not least, our top 5 earners will have the chance to throw a pie at their favorite teacher. It’s going to be a blast!
